Fun Friendsgiving Game Ideas
1. Voting Game
With this game, I found out who my friends actually are. I love them more because of it, but it can get a little scary. All in all, you share memories, judge each other, and make too many assumptions. And too many secret votes.
There is a Party version and a NSFW version. I will not be asking which of them you guys decide to play.
2. What Do You Meme?
This card game is the definition of laughter. I have even played with my grandma and she couldn’t. stop. laughing. And friends are no different!
This meme game is a perfect fun Friendsgiving afternoon.
Although there are many awesome games where you do not need equipment or cards, games like What Do You Meme are worth every penny. So much laughter! Perfect vibe for a Friendsgiving celebration.

3. Karaoke
Old classic tunes, good food, friends.. what else can you ask for?
I’m talking Sweet Caroline, Dancing Queen (or any ABBA), Bohemian Rhapsody, I Want It That Way… I could be here listing great songs forever. But you get the idea.
I got this karaoke set on last year’s Friendsgiving and oh my. Let me tell you. It was wild. But also super fun! I can’t recommend this enough.
You just need a TV to play some YouTube Karaoke videos, but, having microphones makes it slightly more special, not gonna lie. This set is affordable, super easy to get working, and will serve an infinite amount of parties!

4. Taboo
Taboo Party game is a must for Friendsgiving celebration.
Fast-paced, fun, and works wonders for groups of +4.
Something about not being able to say certain words brings the most laughs out of everyone.
Although it might seem like just another card game, I had to include it because it is definitely one of my favorite Friendsgiving game ideas!
5. Minute To Win It Game
Minute To Win It is a simple yet fun Friendsgiving game idea. Make a weird demand, petition or task, and your colleague will have 1 minute to complete it. If they don’t succeed, they will have to drink.
For example:
- Find cellotape around the house
- Gather 5 10-dollar bills
- Put your clothes the wrong way round
- …The possibilities are truly infintite!
Friendsgiving Drinking Games
6. Drinking Jenga
This has to be one of the most engaging while remaining seated Friendsgiving game out there.
The title speaks for itself. A drinking Jenga game can only go one way. SUPER FUN!
As the drinking progresses and the tower gets harder, the laughs just. get. better.
This is making me want it to be Friendsgiving right now!!
7. Beer Pong – but make it bowling
Drinking games are fun ways of doing what most will probably do during a Friendsgiving party: Drink!
A cool take on the classic Beer Pong is this game called Drop Cup which makes Beer Pong on a roll, similar to bowling! This box brings everything you’ll need, minus the drinks and friends, of course.

8. Never Have I Ever
You can probably find a card game for this classic but making it personalized to the friend group usually bring the best results.
The game is simple: take turns saying something you have never done but someone in the group could’ve done. Use this game to uncover your friend’s secrets!
For example:
- Never have I ever gone skinny-dipping
- Never have I ever broken a bone
- Never have I ever had to go to court.. and so on!
You can get as spicy or as politically correct as you want. Everyone who has done the thing mentioned will have to drink.
9. These Cards Will Get You Drunk
Sometimes, you don’t need too many words to explain something. This game might be it.
These cards will get you drunk. Simple. A LOT of fun. For the hardcore group of friends.
The most straightforward Friendsgiving drinking game.
10. Buzzed
Another straightforward Friendsgiving card game to get you and your friends tipsy. Use this to spice up or level up any party.
Buzzed consists of 250+ cards that will tell you exactly what to do to get you and your friends… well… for lack of a better word… drunk.
11. Most Likely To..
This is another Friendsgiving game idea that doesn’t require cards but when you have 250+ prompts it makes it so much easier and engaging.
Take turns in saying a “who’s most likely to” phrase and collectively agree to 1-2 persons in the group who fit the most. Those are the ones who drink!
For example:
- Who’s most likely to become a gold digger?
- Who’s most likely to fail their driving test?
- Who’s most likely to fall down the stairs?
- … Now imagine having a card game with 250+ ideas!
Great to get closer with your group and talk about yourselves, discuss your personalities and strengthen your connection!
12. Paranoia
Some call it paranoia, I call it egocentric curiosity. Either way, it will definitely get you drunk.
Whisper to someone’s ear a “who” question, for example, who is more likely to go to jail. That person must say out loud the name of who is most likely to go to jail. If the person who has been called out has paranoia and wants to know what question led to their name being called out, they will have to drink. Give it a couple of rounds and check how paranoia increases!
Can you resist the paranoia?

Friendsgiving Games For Adults
13. Cards Against Humanity
Does this game need introduction? In my opinion, the funniest, hilarious, relationship deepener game out there.
You truly get to know your so-called “friends”. It’s actually scary.
If you don’t own these cards, Friendsgiving is a perfect opportunity to play your own for the first time.
This Friendsgiving game idea has become such a CLASSIC amongst friend groups, although I’m surprised by how many people I meet that have never played.
JUST SO CLASSIC. SO CLASSY. SO FUN. Can you tell I love Cards Against Humanity? Now I want to hang out with friends and play, haha.
14. Telestrations After Dark
This party game involves drawing, miscommunication, adults, and preferably (night-time) and some drinks. What can go wrong?
It is actually a really fun game where you draw what you see and try to guess what you saw. What? Exactly. I have such good memories of this game!
If you’ve never heard of Telestrations After Dark before, it’s a good Friendsgiving game idea adults will love and enjoy.
Last Minute Friendsgiving Games
The following Friendsgiving game ideas require little to no equipment. Use these if you’re low on time or if Friendsgiving is today!
15. How Well Do You Know Me
This simple game will put many relationships on the test. You have been warned! I am not responsible for any breakups, deceptions, or regrets caused by playing this game. You simply ask a person questions about yourself, like:
- What did I major in in college?
- What color was my prom dress?
- What is my mom’s first name?
- .. and check out who actually knows you!
16. Work on a large Puzzle together
Active and engaging Friendsgiving games are fun but sometimes the vibe just asks for chill music and relaxing vibes. If you still want to do something together, a puzzle is a wholesome, cozy alternative. Most houses have one lying around so it should be compatible with coming up with last-minute Friendsgiving game ideas.
17. Would You Rather..
Yet another equipment-free Friendsgiving game idea. In this one, ask your colleagues the weirdest “Would you rather” questions and laugh and discuss the answers.
- Would you rather loose your sight or your memories?
- Would you rather be chronically over or underdressed?
- … check out on google for more weird ideas!
18. Two Truths And A Lie
A fun way to break the ice (if there is one) and get more significant insights into your friend’s lives. Who would’ve known my life-long best friend had a crush on my brother or that a college friend was actually born in Jamaica?
19. Last but not least: don’t forget to say THANK YOU!
Friendsgiving games are cool ways to get closer and have fun, but the true reason for Friendsgiving/Thanksgiving is to show gratitude and say thank you to all there is. Good and bad. So, make sure to incorporate some moments in the gathering to be grateful to one another, either collectively or independently.
What a beautiful celebration! Be sure to make the most of it.
